Senior Ruby on Rails Developer
We’re looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer who enjoys owning meaningful features, building reliable systems, and working in a mature, high-trust engineering environment.
This is an individual contributor role for an experienced backend engineer who cares deeply about code quality, testing, and long-term impact.

What You’ll Do
- Own features from implementation to production within a well-defined product scope
- Build and maintain robust Ruby on Rails systems used at scale
- Work closely with product and other engineers to solve real user problems
- Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and E2E)
- Improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems
- Take responsibility for the quality and long-term health of what you build
What We’re Looking For
Required
- 4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails
- Strong backend engineering skills and database experience
- Solid experience writing and maintaining automated tests (including E2E)
- Experience building and running production systems
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership
- Strong problem-solving mindset, you look beyond tickets
- Experience with Web APIs
- Availability during EMEA working hours
Nice to Have
- Experience with React
- CI/CD experience (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
- Background jobs, AWS, or complex integrations
- Experience with Capybara
